Zac Brown Band announces December Sphere residency

Grammy-winning country group Zac Brown Band has confirmed a four-show residency at Las Vegas Sphere this December, marking one of the most anticipated country music events at the cutting-edge venue. The band will perform on December 5, 6, 12, and 13, with all shows starting at 7:30 p.m.
New album debut at Sphere
The residency will coincide with the release of the band’s seventh studio album “Love & Fear” on December 5. The 13-track record features collaborations with Dolly Parton, Snoop Dogg, and blues-rock artist Marcus King, promising a genre-blending experience that aligns with Sphere’s immersive capabilities.
“This show is the story of my life that I have never shared, a journey through my imagination, music and stories that have defined who I am,” Brown stated about the residency. He described the album as “my masterpiece so far” and emphasized how Sphere’s technology will create “a unique experience where you can really feel every note, every word.”
Immersive experience planned
Brown has been working with a team for over a year on this production, calling it “the biggest spectacle we have ever done”. The show will utilize Sphere’s revolutionary 16K resolution screen and advanced audio system featuring 167,000 speakers that can deliver targeted sound to each seat.
The production will include a 40-piece orchestra and incorporate Vegas-style elements with dancers and acrobatics. Brown has emphasized this won’t be a typical country celebration but rather an emotional journey with tension and release moments.

The band joins an elite group of performers at Sphere, following residencies by U2, Phish, Dead & Company, the Eagles, and Kenny Chesney. Zac Brown Band will be the second country act to headline the venue after Chesney’s earlier run.
