Nevada state police find body after motorcycle fire under freeway ramp

Early-morning blaze reveals deceased individual near I‑11 off-ramp
In the early hours of Thursday, Nevada State Police responded to a motorcycle fire beneath the Interstate 11 northbound off-ramp at Rainbow Boulevard. Around 2:40 a.m., troopers arrived to find the motorcycle engulfed in flames and a 60-year-old man lying nearby. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Victim appeared unhoused, officials say
Authorities determined the deceased individual was not involved in a crash or the fire, and appeared to be homeless. The cause of death remains under investigation, with no signs of foul play reported by officials.
Investigation and public safety measures
The ramp and surrounding area were closed briefly as investigators and first responders worked at the scene. Nevada State Police are coordinating with the Clark County coroner to determine the identity of the victim and complete the cause-of-death examination. Troopers are also reviewing surveillance footage and seeking witnesses who may have seen the victim before the incident.
Drivers in the area early Thursday morning were urged to avoid the ramp until authorities cleared the scene.
