The “Flip Off” star touched down in Las Vegas on July 20 for a belated birthday celebration (her actual birthday was July 9), proving that when it comes to modern blended families, Vegas truly is the place where anything goes—even partying with your ex and his new spouse.

Haack was joined by boyfriend Christopher Larocca, 52, along with her former husband and HGTV co-star Tarek El Moussa, 43, and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa, 37. The group documented their whirlwind trip on social media, giving fans a glimpse into what appeared to be a genuinely fun celebration.
“What happens in Vegas…ends up on Instagram 😏🎲🍾” Heather Rae captioned a carousel of photos showing the group enjoying pool time, clinking champagne glasses, and singing happy birthday over a candlelit cake at an upscale Strip restaurant.
The photos revealed a day spent soaking up the Vegas sun by the pool, with the group sporting swimwear and all smiles. Evening brought a fancy dinner where Haack blew out candles on her birthday cake as the unique party sang to her.
From bitter divorce to Vegas celebrations
The amicable celebration marks a remarkable turnaround for Haack and Tarek, who went through a highly publicized and initially contentious divorce in 2016 after seven years of marriage. The former couple shares two children—daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9—and have worked to maintain a co-parenting relationship.
Heather Rae’s birthday tribute to Haack acknowledged their unusual friendship: “It’s crazy how far we’ve come & most will never understand how we are friends. I’m grateful for our relationship & our ability to rise above the noise!”

HGTV recently canceled her solo show “Christina on the Coast” after six seasons, along with “The Flipping El Moussas” starring Tarek and Heather Rae. However, the trio will continue working together on their joint venture “Flip Off,” which is expected to return for a second season.

For Haack, who has been married three times, the Vegas trip also served as a public celebration of her relationship with Larocca. The relationship marks a fresh start for Haack following her divorce from third husband Josh Hall, which was finalized in May 2025 after a contentious 10-month legal battle.

Las Vegas has long been a favorite filming location and getaway destination for reality TV stars. The city’s anything-goes atmosphere and luxurious resorts provide the perfect backdrop for both work and play in the reality TV world.
Currently, HGTV star Victoria Alynn is filming a new show called “Sin City Rehab” in Las Vegas, set to debut in late 2025. The series will follow her as she expands her design business to the Vegas market, renovating homes throughout the valley.
