Five injured in rollover crash in northwest Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV — Five people were hospitalized following a serious three-vehicle collision in the northwest Las Vegas Valley on Monday afternoon, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
The crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. on northbound Durango Drive, prompting authorities to shut down the roadway in both directions between El Capitan Way and Shady Pines Drive. One of the vehicles involved reportedly rolled over, and at least two individuals were ejected from their vehicles during the impact.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported five injured individuals to local hospitals. The extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
As of 6:00 p.m., roads around the crash site began reopening, but police continue to urge motorists to avoid the area as cleanup and investigations continue.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
