Single-vehicle crash claims life near Harry Reid International Airport
A man died Monday night after crashing his car into a block wall near Harry Reid International Airport. The incident occurred just before 8:25 p.m. at the intersection of Hacienda Avenue and University Center Drive, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Officials say the driver, operating a 2006 Audi TT, was traveling at a high speed when he lost control and collided with the wall. Medical personnel declared him dead at the scene. Police are investigating the crash, and it will not be classified as a traffic fatality until the Clark County Coroner’s Office confirms the cause and manner of death.
