Def Leppard announces third Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace Colosseum

Rock legends Def Leppard are returning to Las Vegas for their third residency, bringing their explosive catalog of hits to the iconic Colosseum at Caesars Palace for 12 exclusive shows throughout February 2026.
Third time’s the charm for British rockers
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees announced their latest Las Vegas venture Monday morning, titled “Def Leppard: Live at Caesars Palace The Las Vegas Residency.” The February 3-28, 2026 run follows the band’s successful previous residencies in 2019 and 2013, both of which sold out completely.
“Las Vegas has always been such a main attraction for Def Leppard. There’s no place on earth where you can have the likes of Adele, U2 and The Eagles all playing sold out shows on the same night!,” said frontman Joe Elliott in a statement. “We’re really looking forward to coming back for our third Vegas residency and to do a run at the iconic Colosseum at Caesars Palace is such an honor given the giants that have blessed that stage!”
Joining legendary company at the Colosseum
The 4,300-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace has earned its reputation as the “Home of the Greatest Entertainers in the World” since opening in 2003. The venue has hosted legendary residencies by Celine Dion (whose 1,141 shows generated $650 million), Elton John, Madonna, Adele, Rod Stewart, and Cher, among others.
Currently, the Colosseum spotlights world-class entertainers including Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez, Dolly Parton, Alanis Morissette, Jerry Seinfeld and Rod Stewart. The venue underwent major renovations in 2019, featuring state-of-the-art sound systems, enhanced lighting, and high-definition LED video walls.
New production promises fresh experience
The Sheffield-born band has promised “a brand new electrifying production to showcase their timeless catalog of hits along with some new surprises that fans and newcomers alike will love.” While classics like “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” “Hysteria,” and “Animal” are expected staples, the band has hinted at rare gems and deeper cuts from their extensive catalog.
With more than 110 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the U.S., Def Leppard continues to be one of rock’s most important forces. Their most recent studio work includes 2022’s critically acclaimed “Diamond Star Halos” album and 2023’s “Drastic Symphonies” collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Las Vegas entertainment powerhouse
The announcement reinforces Las Vegas’s position as the premier destination for major artist residencies. As Elliott noted, the city’s unique ability to host multiple superstars simultaneously – with acts like Adele, U2 at the Sphere, and various other major performers – creates an unparalleled entertainment landscape.
Def Leppard’s residency will be produced by Live Nation Las Vegas, which also brings residency shows from numerous other major artists to venues across the Strip including Dolby Live at Park MGM, The Venetian Theatre, and various other premier concert venues.
The band’s return to Las Vegas comes as they continue their summer 2025 tour with special guests Bret Michaels, The Struts, and Extreme, which runs through August 31 in Virginia Beach. Their recent collaboration with Tom Morello on “Just Like 73” reached No. 1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock chart, proving their continued relevance in the rock world.
For fans of classic rock and one of the genre’s most enduring acts, Def Leppard’s third Las Vegas residency promises to be an unmissable spectacle combining decades of hits with the intimate grandeur that only the Colosseum can provide.
