Country Night brings boots and baseball to Las Vegas Ballpark

Aviators host special theme night with live music, mechanical bull, and $2 beers
Baseball meets honky-tonk Thursday night as the Las Vegas Aviators present Country Night at Las Vegas Ballpark, featuring a full lineup of western-themed entertainment alongside Triple-A baseball action against the intrastate rival Reno Aces.
The July 31 event, presented by South Point, PBR, and Stoney’s, promises to transform the Downtown Summerlin ballpark into a country music celebration complete with live music, line dancing, BBQ specials, and mechanical bull riding.
Pre-game festivities
Gates open at 5 p.m. for the 7:05 p.m. first pitch, giving fans two hours to enjoy pre-game activities throughout the ballpark. The Tony Marques Band will perform live country music on the plaza, setting the tone for the evening’s festivities.
Stoney’s Rockin’ Country will lead line dancing demonstrations, giving fans a chance to learn popular dances and show off their moves. Those looking for more adventure can test their skills on a mechanical bull stationed at the Hangar Bar.
Special promotions and deals
Country Night features several fan-friendly promotions:
- $2 beers available from 6-8 p.m. on the plaza as part of the Aviators’ Thursday night tradition
- OFF THE HOOK BBQ specials throughout the ballpark
- Party Corner 101 Experience upgrade option that includes game ticket, buffet-style catered food, and beverages (soda and bottled water)
The matchup
The Aviators (60-40) face the Reno Aces in game three of their six-game homestand. The series runs through Sunday, August 3, with the Silver State rivals battling for Pacific Coast League supremacy. Las Vegas has already clinched a spot in the 2025 PCL playoffs after winning the first half title.
The game will be broadcast on the Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network (SSSEN) on channel 5.2, Cox cable channel 77, YoutubeTV, and Fubo, as well as on Raider Nation Radio 920 AM with longtime broadcaster Russ Langer calling the action.
Las Vegas Ballpark experience
Located in Downtown Summerlin at 1650 S. Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas Ballpark opened in 2019 as the home of the Aviators, the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. The 10,000-capacity stadium has quickly become one of the premier minor league baseball venues in the country.
The ballpark features modern amenities, multiple dining options, and family-friendly entertainment beyond just baseball. Theme nights like Country Night have become a staple of the Aviators’ promotional calendar, drawing fans who might not typically attend baseball games.
Part of summer tradition
Country Night is one of many themed promotions the Aviators host throughout their season, which runs from April through September. Other popular theme nights include:
- Reyes de Plata (Silver Kings) Tuesday games celebrating Hispanic heritage
- Bark on the Berm Wednesdays where fans can bring their dogs
- Friday Night Fireworks presented by Fletcher Jones Nevada
- Saturday Giveaways featuring exclusive promotional items
- Sunday Fun Day with post-game kids run the bases
