Rapper Cardi B marked her 28th birthday with an extravagant Las Vegas celebration on October 10, 2020, drawing attention for reuniting with estranged husband Offset just one month after filing for divorce.

The Grammy-winning artist hosted her desert-themed birthday bash at Area15, Las Vegas’s newest entertainment complex, which had only been open for about a month at the time. The venue transformed into a spectacular party scene complete with live camels brought in to enhance the Sahara Desert theme.
Celebrity guests included Kylie Jenner, who arrived on her private jet carrying a Birkin bag as a gift, Megan Thee Stallion, The Weeknd, Floyd Mayweather, 21 Savage, and Meek Mill. According to witnesses, a marching band greeted Megan by playing their hit collaboration “WAP” as she arrived.
Reunion sparks reconciliation rumors
Despite their pending divorce, Offset played a prominent role in the celebration. The Migos rapper gifted Cardi a custom black Rolls-Royce Cullinan featuring their daughter Kulture’s name embroidered on the headrests. He also arranged for a pink billboard in Las Vegas reading “Happy birthday mommy love, Kulture.”
Throughout the night, the former couple displayed considerable affection, with photos and videos capturing them kissing and dancing together. The party continued at a high-roller presidential suite at Caesars Palace until 6 a.m., where Cardi was seen giving Offset a lap dance while he referred to her as “my girl” on social media.
Complicated relationship status
The reunion came just weeks after Cardi filed for divorce in September 2020, citing the marriage as “irretrievably broken.” During an Instagram Live session, she had explained she was “tired of arguing” but maintained there was no bad blood between them.
Sources close to the couple indicated that while they appeared very close during the celebration, they weren’t officially back together. The party marked another chapter in their on-again, off-again relationship that began with a secret marriage in 2017.
