Las Vegas-based WOW Carwash continues its rapid expansion across the valley, opening its 18th location at Desert Inn Road and Durango Drive while treating customers to a week of complimentary premium car washes.
Grand opening draws over 1,300 customers
The newest WOW Carwash location at 8580 W. Desert Inn Road welcomed more than 1,300 guests for free car washes during its grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 30. The facility, situated at the northeast corner of Desert Inn Road and Durango Drive, marks another milestone in the company’s aggressive growth strategy.
To extend the celebration, WOW Carwash announced it would continue offering its premium WOW MAX car wash service free of charge through Sunday, September 7. The complimentary washes, normally valued at $22, are available during operating hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a limit of one free wash per vehicle.
Family-friendly celebration features special guests
The grand opening festivities on Saturday featured a family-friendly celebration from noon to 2 p.m., complete with free Chick-fil-A sandwiches and Hawaiian-inspired shaved ice from Kona Ice. A local radio DJ provided live entertainment while guests spun a prize wheel to win WOW-branded merchandise.
Adding to the excitement, Vegas Golden Knights mascot Chance made an appearance from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., accompanied by the Vegas Vivas, the team’s official dance squad. The partnership underscores WOW Carwash’s status as the official car wash of the Golden Knights, as well as the Vegas Knight Hawks and UNLV.
Unlimited membership promotion launched
In conjunction with the grand opening, WOW Carwash introduced a limited-time promotion offering any unlimited membership plan for just $9.99 per month for the first three months. The deal represents significant savings for customers who regularly maintain their vehicles.
The company’s unlimited membership plans include access to all WOW locations across the Las Vegas Valley, free vacuum services, and mat cleaners at participating sites.

The Desert Inn and Durango location represents the latest achievement in WOW Carwash’s ambitious growth plan. Founded in 2017, the Vegas-born company has rapidly expanded from a single location to 18 facilities across the valley, with plans to reach 25 to 30 locations by the end of 2025.
